Position Details: PROCESS ENGINEER - NORTHERN KWAZULU-NATAL

Description:

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced PROCESS ENGINEER for a large concern, position based in the Northern KwaZulu-Natal area.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Grade 12.

Valid driver’s license.

Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Experience on Ms Access an added advantage.

BSc / BTech Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering.

Post graduate qualification, preferably in planning or logistics.

5yrs+ solid experience in terminal simulation systems.

5 – 10 years’ previous experience in industrial engineering or bulk logistics.

Exposure in ISO 9001 or ISO 50 001 would be advantageous.

Solid working experience with simulation systems - G2 programming advantages.

VSM and business process mapping.

Certified greenbelt six sigma – advantageous.

Data analytic systems Mini tab, Power Bi and etc.

Operate and further develop the simulation model tool, develop a real time planning system.

Monitor performance, able to foresee and eliminate potential bottlenecks.

Improve awareness and understanding of optimum operating philosophies.  Creation of performance standards.

Energy management reporting.

Strategic improvements.
